Cozy place with a pleasant atmosphere. Food is really good. We tried pumpkin cake and it was the best pumpkin cake I ever had. Specifically if you visit during famous pumpkin week (Kurpitsaviikot) you can try some really good food made for Halloween. Also I must say that the service is great. The staff is super nice and friendly. Highly recommended to anyone.

Very nicely renovated old historic building offering ala carte and lunch options. The site itself is an old iron age historic site where excavations has been made and has a long and high importance to the area

Very good food. Beef perfectly cooked. Lovely girls were super kind and helpful. Menu available either in English and Finnish. Personel speaks decent English same as some of the guests

We had our beautiful wedding arranged in Rikalamäki this summer and must say this was one of the best decisions we made concerning the wedding arrangements. The venue is amazingly charming and reminded us of the trips we’ve made in Tuscany, Italy. Rikalanmäki could be easily called ”the Little Italy” of Finland. Rikalanmäki is a beautiful place combining both industrial and rustic styles. The personnel and the owners are super friendly, helpful and professional and for our wedding the whole Rikalanmäki crew did everything to make it a special day for us and fulfilled all the wishes we had, even the tiny little details. The service was friendly, positive and sunny. The food offered by Rikalanmäki was delicious and beautifully presented and utilized the seasonal products from the nearby farms. All the details for catering were taken care of by the Rikalanmäki crew. A big recommendation!

Food was good. Supporting local food providers is important. Only negative was coldness in November. Wear enough warm cloths if you visit in cold weather.

High quality food and good amounts, at least for Finnish standards :-) We had the delicious medieval meat mix, with excellent veggies mix and some quinoa. Location is also a BIG plus
